Crafting 4 Christ (C4C) was started in 2023 by Teri Rolfes. A youth leader at her church, Teri began doing crafts and board games with some teens in the youth group as an alternative for those students who weren’t interested in athletic activities during open gym time. Witnessing the positive impact and confidence boosting the crafts and games had on the teens was heart-warming. God then nudged Teri to expand the ministry with a website to encourage others to use the unique gifts and talents that God gave them, and to do everything in the name of Jesus. “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17 (NIV).
At C4C, we believe that in order to lead others into a relationship with Christ, we must be willing to meet them where they are. Sometimes those places are scary, difficult, and messy. We live in an imperfect world, and evil is alive and well. It can be tough to meet people when they are in places we wouldn’t normally go ourselves. It’s important to understand that we aren’t to judge others or compare one sin to another. Only God has that authority.
Because many people don’t know Jesus on a personal level, God commands us to love others as He loves us. We are called to share His Word, the Bible with others so they know just how much Jesus loves them. Only God has the power to change a heart. We need to help facilitate the opportunity for that change by introducing them to Jesus and praying for and loving others, even when we disagree with them or their actions. We must be diligent and remember to hate the sin but love the sinner.“ Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.” John 8:7 (NIV).
In the spring of 2025, At God’s urging, Teri began Pathlight Ministries. Through her experiences with the youth group, she learned that many of the students graduating high school and beginning the journey into young adulthood were concerned about losing their faith once they left the security of Youth Group. The mission of Pathlight Ministries is to provide encouragement, support and resources to help young adults stay rooted in their Christian faith and involved in their local church after graduating high school.
